Bridal Shower Invite

I recently made this bridal shower invite for a co-worker for her daughter's bridal shower held this past Sunday. The theme was "Las Vegas". They even hired an Elvis impersonator for the shower!

Wedding Invitation

Rachael, John & Tyler lounging at The Morning Glory Inn
My sister-in-law gave me the honor of making her wedding invitations for her wedding held on July 15th, 2011.

The color for her wedding was a gorgeous, shimmery turquoise/sea green (see picture left of my bridesmaid dress & hubby's vest/tie). So, naturally, I used the same color for the invites. The base of the invite is that color in cardstock. I printed the invites in turquoise font, as well, on a cream invitation background to make the wording "pop".

The invite was finished off with a vellum covering and  a shimmery and sheer turquoise and ivory ribbon woven through the top.

Here is a scanned copy of one of the invites:

Thanks to my son, Evan, I've started working on Valentine's cards.

Are you making Valentine's cards?
If so, feel free to share your creations here!

I'll also post my creations soon.
